Letter to the Times editor: >>> ”

Madam, – With drug abuse becoming so prevalent in our society, with it comes, what I consider, abuse of the language. For those of us who do not abuse what is medically prescribed by professional physicians, can we please try to refer to this as “medication” instead of “drugs”? The line between the behaviour of a socially maladjusted individual and a law-abiding user of medicine must not be blurred by these words, which are not interchangeable. – Yours, etc, WESLEY J BECK”
